Durch die Unabh\u00e4ngigkeit vom teuren Filmmaterial der Analogkamera entwickelte sich der Fotoapparat zum st\u00e4ndigen Begleiter Lars K\u00e4kers w\u00e4hrend seiner ersten Jahre in K\u00f6ln. Als Serie, die sich mit dem<br \/>Thema \u201eGemeinschaft\u201c besch\u00e4ftigt, bildet \u201eFreundeskreis\u00b2\u201c einen Gegenpol zu den Arbeiten, die Ausgrenzung und Isolation thematisieren. Auch bricht die streng frontale, serielle Darstellung auf und die Bildkomposition gewinnt an Bedeutung.
